Vari Udu
The lands of Savage Shadow are just as they suggest. They are dark and shadowy, often clouded over, and large marshy plains cover a lot of the territroy, but their main living area is surrounded by an ominous and forbidding, coniferous forest. Night is the favoured part of any day, for it means cover from the light that has blinded the rest, or at least, that's how they see it. The shadows are their haven, and darkness brings them comfort. Malignant spirits haunt the lands in the night, whispering their malicious thoughts to fill the crazed minds of the shadowed wolves. Screams of terror, pain and anguish can be heard throughout the lands, but they are only echoes from the past. Muffled cries for help surround the trees, but that creature's fate has already been sealed.
This is a dark place, and unless you are of utmost shadow, do not consider coming here, for you will not be welcomed. Pures are the enemy of any dark wolf, and any found upon these shadowed lands shall die within heartbeats of their entrance. If not by the fang and claw of a shadow dweller, then by their own fear for the lands are merciless and hold expertise in the elements of fright
Vari Udu Bog
The bog is a large expanse of tall grasses and drowned plant-life, surrounded and ensnared by muddy waters found in the center of Vari Udu territory. Only those who know the paths should dare enter this area, for to become trapped in the misleading ponds is to ensure certain death. However, hunting is easy here, for prey come to graze thinking it is a haven of grass and plentiful with water, only to become stuck and helpless while their predators circle 'round.
Shadowed Hills
To the northwest of the territory, these hills are quite bleak in appearance, but hold an abundance of caves and shadowy dens. This is the packs' main denning site and meeting area, where everything of importance happens.
Savage Dens
Amongst the Shadowed Hills are the Savage Dens, where heavy barriers of thorn protect the dens. The den most thickly surrounded by thorns would be the packs main nursery den, where the young are kept safely tucked away in a natural sanctuary. Watch your step.
River of Illusion
The river runs all the way across the north of the territory heading eastbound, then dives into a sharp southeasterly path. It is a barrier of sorts that blocks the passage of unwanted wolves from other packs into their territory.
Woods of Sorrow
These desolate, empty woods seem devoid of any life but the trees, except by night when the nocturnal creatures come alive. But, day or night, you can hear the muffled cries of agony and screams for help echoing from the past; it is almost enough to make a wolf go crazy.
Blackwater Beach
The beach and cold, dark-watered lake are found south of the Bog, far from the main part of Vari Udu's territory. Lots of life and good hunting can be found here, but it is certainly out of the way and only worth it to come in large hunting parties. However, it may sometimes be used as a summer rendezvous if there are pups.
